NUS Department of Real Estate admits the first intake for the Master of Business Administration program with Specialisation in Real Estate . Students from the M Sc (Real Estate) program 14 th intake embarked on a one-week induction program on Aug 1, 2005 . The 2005 MRE intake is one of the largest since the inception of the program. Find out more by emailing .

30 B Sc (Real Estate) students completed a 6-week summer program that included a 2-week field trip to China . Students visited residential, industrial and commercial development projects in Shanghai , Suzhou , Hangzhou , and Nanjing . For future summer programs, contact .

The MSRE Alumni Get-Together and Forum on Real Estate Development – Retail Property was held on Aug 4, 2005 . Watch this space for future MSRE alumni activities.

The 2005 NUS - HKU Symposium on Real Estate Research held from Jul 14 - 15, 2005 hosted participants from US, Canada , UK , Australia , Israel , Taiwan , Hong Kong and Malaysia . 13 quality papers were presented. The 2006 symposium will be held in Hong Kong.

The Department conducted a 2-week Ministry of Foreign Affairs -commissioned Executive Program in Housing (Jul 19 – Aug 1) for 27 government officials from Asian, African and South American countries.

The Foundation Course in Real Estate for Singapore Land Authority staff was held from Jul 13 – Aug 17, 2005 .

 

 

 

Upcoming Events

“Housing Prices and Housing Affordability in Asia and Around the World” is the theme for the 2 nd University of Southern California- Tsinghua University-NUS symposium to be held in Beijing , 1Q 2006.

The Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers - NUS Singapore Property Research Forum on “ Remaking the Housing Landscape in Singapore ” will be held on 15 Oct 2005. Contact Ms KO Chen for details .
